Charlotte L. Sigmund, 71, of Pennsburg, died Sunday, January 4, 2015 at Grandview Hospital.

Born in Atlantic City, NJ, she was a daughter of Lottie L. (Lubin) Sprague and stepdaughter of John B. Sprague, Sr., both of Pennsburg.

She graduated in 1961 from Upper Perkiomen High School and worked as a floor worker in the Apparel Department at Walmart in East Greenville for the last 8 years. Prior to that, she worked at Pilgrim’s Pride in Franconia.

Charlotte was a member of Lighthouse Christian Fellowship where she participated in the Ladies Bible Study Group.

Surviving along with her mother and stepfather are two brothers, John B. Sprague, Jr. and wife, Sharon of Mahanoy City and Daniel S. Sprague of Pennsburg and several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 8, 2015 at Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, 222 Washington Street, East Greenville. Burial follows in Christ Union Cemetery, Niantic.
