Dolores M. (Wheatley) Johnson, 84, wife of the late Richard D. Johnson, Jr. of Green Lane, passed away on Thursday, February 5, 2015 at her home.

Born in Philadelphia, she was a daughter of the late Thomas J. and Loretta C. (McHale) Wheatley.

Dolores worked with her husband and daughter, Barbara, as a secretary in the family printing business, Johnson Press in Ambler, for 30 years retiring in 2007.

She was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Sumneytown.

She was a loving wife and mother and will be sadly missed by her children, Barbara A. Johnson of Douglassville, Edward W. Johnson and wife, Robin, of Green Lane, Patricia A. Damiano and husband, David, of Barto, a sister, Mary McGovern of Philadelphia and 4 grandchildren, Christopher and Timothy Damiano and Caitlin and Chelsea Johnson.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 19, 2015 at the Mann Slonaker Funeral Home, 222 Washington Street, East Greenville with the Rev. Rebecca Eisenhart officiating. Family and friends are invited to a visitation from 10 until 11 a.m. at the funeral home prior to the service.
