Condolences

Condolence From: Richard Allen Whitehouse
Condolence: From Sister Evelyn and Family, We are so very sorry we could not be there on this sad day, We pray for everyone's loss, but Mom knows her brother is safe in heaven with his wife. They were two of the gentlest people ever! While we lived far apart for most of our lives, Uncle Harold was a role model for me growing up R.I.P. my dear Uncle.

Condolence From: Jeffrey Clouser - grandson
Condolence: Reflecting on the recent deaths of family members kinda makes me realize that certain chapters are now closed. For instance, my grandfather and grandmother always had a great Christmas Eve feast. Decorated the basement to the hilt, me playing Santa Clause, and even though these elaborate gatherings stopped years ago when my grandmother died in 2001 as long as grandfather was still alive you felt like these gatherings might continue again someday but now you know for sure they won't. My dad would always take us to the beach and camping. Tents, pop ups and eventually cabins. Even though his illness later in life limited much of this activity you would still think about those camping trips him setting up sleeping quarters and stringing the hammock and starting the fires and lighting up the camp stove and electric skillet. Now that he is gone that too has ended. Yes I'm lucky to have those memories to cherish but I'm afraid those could fade over time as I continue to get older too. And even though I'm making memories with my family now it just doesn't seem like I'm doing it as well as these two gentlemen did..
