Condolence: Dalene, Beth, Kathy, Greta- So sorry for your loss. Arlin was a man among men. I found him a bit intimidating when i was young, then figured out he was a softy inside. I still have the needle-nose pliers that he added to a care package Beth sent me when i moved to Chicago after college. Condolence: Dalene and family, I am sorry for your loss. Arlin was a great friend and teammate. I remember the day that coach Harry Blank told Larry Marhefka, Skeeter Johnson and me after a practice that a church member had expressed interest in joining the softball team. When he said who it was I said "By all means, get him! I have known him since I was a kid and believe me, he will be a great addition to our team." Boy, was he ever.
