Obituary for Conrad Larry Filling

Conrad Larry Filling, 74, husband of Gloria J. (Culhane) Filling, of Quakertown, passed away on Sunday, September 18, 2016 in Gardens of Memory Care, Easton.

Born in Sellersville, PA; he was the son of the late Konrad and Marion (Alderfer) Filling.

He worked as a master mechanic for Levy School Bus Company from 1979 to 1987. He had also worked at Heimbach & Sweatt Chevrolet and Red Hill Ford as an auto mechanic.

He was a member of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church and his love for his children led him to serve as Vice President of the Quakertown Little League, a coach for the Quakertown Connie Mack Baseball League, and a volunteer for the Lehigh University Athletic Department.

Surviving along with his wife of 47 years are three sons, Jeff S. Frederick and wife, Paula of East Greenville, Joel M. Filling and wife, Alicia of Zionsville and Jon C. Filling and wife, Jen of Idaho; and seven grandchildren, Ian and Sarah Frederick and Joseph, Conner, Evan, Shea and Loren Filling.
