Obituary for Barry D. Pennypacker

Barry D.  Pennypacker
Barry D. Pennypacker, 63, of Pennsburg, passed away peacefully, Friday, February 2, 2018 in his home.

Born in Sellersville, he was a son of Dolores E. (Kline) Pennypacker of Pennsburg and the late Augustus Pennypacker.

Barry had his own retail business at Zern’s Farmers Market in Gilbertsville, was a 1972 graduate of Upper Perkiomen High School and a member of Pennsburg Fire Company. He was a charitable person and was active in volunteering and donating to Animals in Distress, the Open Link, Toys for Tots and he sent Soldier Care packages.

Surviving along with his mother are a nephew, Casey Foraker and a niece, Kelsi Foraker, both of East Greenville.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, February 12, 2018 at the Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, 222 Washington Street, East Greenville, PA 18041 with the Rev. Charles E. Romanowski officiating. Burial follows in St. Mark’s Lutheran Cemetery, Pennsburg. Family and friends are invited to a visitation on Monday from 10 to 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
