Obituary for Robert Landis

Robert Landis, 84, of Green Lane, PA, passed suddenly while at work on Monday, May 31, 2021. He was the husband of Nancy M. (Croissette) Landis, with whom he shared 64 years of marriage.

He was born in Elroy, a son of the late Norman and Irene (Swartley) Landis. After his graduation from Hatfield High School, he served in the Army and attended Temple University for Accounting. Bob was the owner and operator for over 42 years of the Perkiomenville Auction and Flea Market.

He was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting and fishing. He was also a member of the Lions Club, Moose Club and was a member of the Masons. He also enjoyed shooting darts in the Bux-Mont League and also bowled in many area leagues.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children: David Landis and his wife Joy; Denise Booz and her companion, Marvin Maurer; Robert S. Landis and his wife Lydia; and Amy Huff and companion Christian Trumbauer; siblings: Dolores MacArthur; Beverly Wendt; Pete Landis; Shirley Michalak and Greg Landis; fourteen grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by a granddaughter, Jodie Morales and sister, Eleanor Lewis.

A walk-thru viewing will be held on Friday, June 4, 2021 from 4-6 pm at Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, 222 Washington St., East Greenville, PA 18041. Burial will be private.
