LeRoy B. Hoffman, 86, husband of Mae E. (Wetzel) Hoffman, of Hereford, died Monday, January 2, 2012 in Manor Care, Allentown. He and his wife celebrated 64 years of marriage on March 29th.

Born in Hereford Township, he was a son of the late John and Maude Hoffman.

He was a self-employed carpenter retiring in the 1990’s.

He was a member of Huff’s Union Church.

Surviving along with his wife are a son, Norman R. Hoffman and wife, Susan E. of Barto; a brother, Willard Hoffman and wife, Fern of Macungie; two sisters, Lillian Landis of Macungie and Arlene Reichert of Topton and two grandsons, Matthew and Zachary. Along with his parents he is predeceased by a brother, Edward and three sisters, Alma, Mary and Dorothy.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday at the Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, 222 Washington Street, East Greenville with Rev. Jane Moffat Kropa officiating. Interment follows in Huff’s Union Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to a viewing from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
