Albert F. Mower III, 53, of Pennsburg, passed away on Monday, October 12, 2020 at St. Luke’s Hospital Upper Bucks Campus. He was the loving husband of Bonnie L. (Kutner) Mower, sharing 22 years of marriage that was full of love and travel.

Born in Allentown, PA, he was the son of the late Albert F. Jr. Mower and Dorothy (Roeder) Mower. He was also predeceased by his son, Noah Zachary Mower.

Albert graduated from the Western Montgomery Technical School with honors and from Cleaver Brooks School for Boilers and High Pressure Steam Repair. He also earned a Blacksmith Honorary Degree, that he used to run a blacksmith shop out of his home for many years.

Albert was a technical maintenance supervisor for Mutual Industries for 20 years before retiring. Prior to that,
he worked at Oehlert Brothers Inc. in Royersford for many years. He was a lifelong member of New Goshenhoppen United Church of Christ where he was a soloist and would occasionally play the organ for church services. He was also a proud member of Perkiomen Lodge #595 F&AM.

Albert enjoyed painting and attending painting classes at Maxine’s Art Studio in East Greenville with his wife. He was a talented craftsman when it came to painting, working with his hands and other forms of art from childhood on. He was also known to play the role of Santa Clause at the Bethany Home for many years in the 1990’s. However, his greatest pride and joy was spending time with his family, wife and all of his God Children.

Surviving along with his wife are his two sisters, Cheri Weller and husband, William and his twin sister, Wendy Awckland and husband, Randy; his God children, Jeffrey Weller, Autumn Hibbs, Ethan Noah Stoffel, Samuel Kutner, and Isabella Kutner; mother-in-law, Betty Kutner; father-in-law, James Krause; brother-in-law, Timothy Kutner and wife, Sendy; sister-in-law, Jennifer Stoffel and husband, William; niece and nephew Mary and Scott. He was also very close to his uncles and aunts, Larry Roeder and wife, Barbara, Charles Roeder, his aunt Gloria, Jack Becraw and wife, Diane, Jerry Leibman and wife, Irene and Sam McCuillough and wife, Lee.

Services will be private to the immediate family only. Those family members attending are asked to wear a mask and social distance due to the medical condition of his wife, Bonnie. A celebration of life will be announced at a later date. Arrangements are entrusted to Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, East Greenville and online condolences may be left at www.mannslonakerfuneralhome.

Due to all the medical bills that have accrued, the family asks that memorial donations be made to Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home at 222 Washington St., East Greenville, PA 18041 to offset the expenses of the funeral. Any excess funds, will be donated by Bonnie to his favorite charity.

My family and I are very sorry to hear of Al's passing. We've only knew him a few months, from when we came out to see OldBlue and adopted him from Al and Bonnie. He was a great man, very kind to our kids and great to speak with. He enthusiastically answered all our questions on the phone after we took the truck home, it was clear he was very happy with how much we enjoy the truck. OldBlue is in tremendous shape, we'll keep him that way and remember Al when we drive it. Our thoughts are with you Bonnie.

Uncle Al, I love you so much. I miss most of all the cool mechanical stuff you showed me. I hope you are having fun fixing all the universes gears.

Uncle Albert is so proud of the boy you are. You always made him smile and proud. He will be in heaven and looking down on you. A protector. Like E-man protector, your personal super hero.
