Obituary for Barbara A. Oswald (Shallcross)
Barbara A. (Shallcross) Oswald, 85, widow of Donald G. Oswald, formerly of Green Lane, passed away Thursday, March 14, 2019 at the Quakertown Nursing Center.
Born in Abington, she was the daughter of the late Leonard R. and Edna E. (Rollins) Shallcross.
Barbara was a synthetic finisher for Green Tweed Co. in Kulpsville for many years before retiring.
Surviving are her four children, Terry B. Scampton and wife, Shirl, Kyle S. Scampton, Candy S., wife of Bruce Walck and Todd A. Scampton and wife, Pamela; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at 11 AM on Friday, March 22, 2019 at Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, 222 Washington St., East Greenville, PA 18041. A burial will follow in Calvary Church Cemetery in Souderton. Family and friends are invited to a viewing from 10 AM to 11 AM at the funeral home prior to the service.
