Barry C. Grear, Sr., 73, widower of Sheila Morphew, of Pennsburg, passed away on Saturday, June 15, 2019 at Pennsburg Manor.
Born in Philadelphia, he was a son of the late Richard W. and Ruth Ann (Gordon) Grear, Jr..
Barry was a graduate of Olney High School in Philadelphia and served in the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam era.
He was a manager at many plumbing supply stores before retiring.
Surviving are his son, Barry Grear, Jr. of Sellersville; a daughter, A. Christine Nicholas and husband, Michael of Pennsburg; two grandchildren, Emma and Sydney Nicholas; a sister, Deborah Malloy of Philadelphia, sister in law, Susan Grear of Kimberton and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents and wife, he is predeceased by his brother, Richard Grear.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Cremation services entrusted to Mann-Slonaker, Funeral Home, 222 Washington Street, East Greenville, PA 18041.
