Obituary for Bart J. Keegan
Bart J. Keegan, 87, of East Greenville, passed away on Wednesday, November 10, 2021 at Grand View Hospital in Sellersville, PA. He was the loving husband of Patricia (Bryan) Keegan, sharing 61 years of marriage together.
Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Joseph and Mary (Hirst) Keegan.
Bart was a 1952 graduate of Northeast Catholic High School and a 1964 graduate of Lasalle College. He was employed at Westinghouse Electric Company as an engineer for 21 years before his retirement.
He was a veteran of the United States Army. In his spare time, he enjoyed reading and spending time with his family.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his five children, Brian of Plymouth Meeting, Mark and wife, Karen of Pennsburg, Rev. John and wife, Hae Sung of Fair Lawn, NJ, Paul and wife, Cherie of South Hampton, PA and Kathleen Silver and husband, Michael of Elkins Park, PA; 10 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Maryann Keegan. He is predeceased by a grandson, Andrew, and three siblings, John, Catherine and Beatrice Keegan.
A mass will be held at 11 AM on Monday, November 22, 2021 at St. Philip Neri R.C. Church, 1325 Klinerd Road, Pennsburg, PA 18073 with a burial following in Holy Cross Cemetery, Pennsburg, PA. A visitation will be held from 10 to 10:45 AM at the church prior to the service. Arrangements are entrusted to Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, East Greenville, PA.
