Obituary for Betty Lou Simon (Dulin)
Betty Lou (Dulin) Simon, 89, of Red Hill, passed away on Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at Pennsburg Manor. She was the loving wife of the late Joseph F. Simon.
She was born in Delaware County to the late Henry and Mattie (Woodword) Dulin. She worked at Met Life Insurance as a secretary for many years and also worked at Boulderwood Campground in the general store. Her proudest role was being a foster mother and babysitter.
She is survived by a sister: Shirley Dougherty; nephews: Jack Stanley and wife, Patty and Jeff North and wife, Barbara; nieces: Michele Stanley, Donna Stewart and husband, Spencer, Patricia Wood and husband, George and Debra Lakeman and husband, Ken. In addition to her parents and husband, she is predeceased by two sisters, Jean North and Jean Stanley.
A visitation for relatives and friends will be held on Wednesday, January 6, 2021 at Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, 222 Washington Street, East Greenville, PA from 10:30 – 11:00 AM. All guests are asked to observe current CDC guidelines during the visitation. Due to gathering limits, a private service and burial will be held for family members.
