Obituary for Beverly A. Rathbun (Morse)
Beverly A. (Morse) Rathbun, 85 years old, of Pennsburg, PA, passed away on Thursday, April 28, 2022 at Pennsburg Manor. She was the loving wife of the late Arthur Rathbun.
Born in Brockton, MA, she was the daughter of the late George B. and Phyliss (Cooney) Morse.
Beverly was the most loving person you could ever meet; she accepted everyone, was a great listener and could always be found laughing or singing. She loved Gaither gospel music, watching travel and cooking shows, doing crossword puzzles and word searches, gardening and bird watching. She especially loved her several cats and two dogs, Tatiana and Buddy. Her life was marked by love, kindness, and a good home cooked meal.
She was a member of St. Peters Tohickon United Church of Christ in Perkasie, PA, which she loved and thought so fondly of her pastor.
Surviving are her four children, Lloyd Rathbun of Silver Springs, FL, Debi Canary and husband, Frank of Taunton, MA, Cheryl Rathbun and wife, Trish of Pennsburg, PA and Donna Hall and husband, Dan of Gassville, AR; a sister, Barbara Adamo of Middleboro, MA; four grandchildren, Jason, Patrick, Brendan and Joseph; and three great-grandchildren, Mattison, Lillian and Leland. In addition to her husband, she is predeceased by a daughter, Barbara Dotson and a brother, William Purificato.
Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, May 21, 2022 at St. Peters Tohickon United Church of Christ, 1071 Old Bethlehem Rd, Perkasie, PA 18944. Family and friends are invited to a visitation from 12:30 to 2:00. Arrangements are entrusted to Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, East Greenville, PA.
