Obituary for Carol Bringhurst
Carol Bringhurst, of Gilbertsville, passed away surrounded by her family, at home on Wednesday, May 13, 2020. She was 73.
Born in Philadelphia, she was a daughter of the late Raymond J. Bringhurst and Helen Marie (Bradley), wife of Robert Walters.
Carol graduated from Upper Perkiomen High School in 1965 and was employed for twenty-four with PPL in Allentown before retiring.
Carol is survived by her daughter, Kristine M., wife of James Friel, of Gilbertsville; her grandson Carter Friel, who was her pride and joy; and siblings: Ray, husband of Mary Bringhurst, of Macungie, John, husband of Sue Bringhurst, of Pennsburg, Robert Walters, of Alburtis and Thomas, husband of Gerri Walters, of East Norriton; Betsy, wife of Phil Kresge, of Macungie, Barbara Jean Kline and her partner Michele, of Ankeny, IA and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in her memory to St. Jude’s Hospital for Children by visiting www.stjude.org. Arrangements are entrusted to Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, East Greenville, PA.
