Obituary for Carol G. Huber (McLaughlin)
Carol G. (McLaughlin) Huber, 73, of Quakertown, PA, passed away on Sunday, July 10, 2022 at her home surrounded by her family. She was the loving wife of Winfield “JR” Huber, sharing 51 wonderful years of marriage together.
Born in Norristown, PA, she was the daughter of the late John and Mary (Plummer) McLaughlin.
Carol was a 1968 graduate of Quakertown High School. She worked as a Certified Nurse Aide for 20 years, mostly at LifeQuest Nursing Center in Quakertown, PA.
Carol’s happy place was in her garden; she loved flowers. She was also an avid reader and sports fan; especially the Pittsburgh Steelers. Above all of this, she loved surrounding herself with her loving family; she enjoyed every moment spent with them.
Surviving in addition to her husband are her four children, Carrie Cook of Quakertown, PA, Michele Bright and fiancé, Frank Scholes. III of Easton, PA, Michael Huber and wife, Amy of Potomac, MD and Winfield Huber, Jr. and wife, Crystal of Richlandtown, PA; her beloved 11 grandchildren, Allison, Casey, Matthew, Banagher, Zachary, Benjamin, Mylah, Jacob, Hunter, Corah and Atlas; and siblings, Peggy Mocarski and husband, Dennis of FL and John McLaughlin of Schwenksville, PA. She is predeceased by a son, Paul Huber; and a sister, Jean McLaughlin.
A funeral service will be held at 11 AM on Thursday, July 14, 2022 at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 1565 Sleepy Hollow Rd, Spinnerstown, PA 18968 with a burial following in the church cemetery. Family and friends may visit with the family from 9:30 to 10:45 AM at the church prior to the service.
