Obituary for Caroline H. Guldin (Sieber)

Caroline H. (Sieber) Guldin, 83, of Green Lane, passed away peacefully on the morning of Tuesday, July 28, 2020, at The Birches in Harleysville. She was the wife of the late Jere Guldin, sharing 35 wonderful years of marriage before his passing in 1990.

Born and raised in Green Lane, Caroline was the daughter of the late Nicholas and Caroline (Zepp) Sieber.

Caroline graduated from Upper Perkiomen High School and was a waitress for Sandy Run Country Club in Oreland for 18 years. Later, she was a product sampler at various grocery stores in the tri-county.

Caroline was a member of St. Philip Neri R.C. Church in Pennsburg, the Souderton Senior Center, and the Golden Agers. She enjoyed traveling, baking heirloom recipes, attending her family’s concerts and performances, spending time in nature, dancing, playing games, and going to movie premieres. She was a lifelong lover of dogs and wildlife, which she admired from her deck.

Surviving are her two sons, Jere N. Guldin of Los Angeles, CA and Joel G. Guldin of Lebanon, PA; Joel’s wife, Maryann; three granddaughters, Joanna Guldin, Rachel Guldin, and Rebecca Guldin; and her brother, Nicholas F. Sieber. She is predeceased by her daughter, Jo Dee, and her sister, Marlene Ereck.

Services will be private at this time. Arrangements are entrusted to Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home of East Greenville, PA. Please offer sympathy to the family at www.mannslonakerfuneralhome.com. As a tribute to her life and in lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Montgomery County SPCA.
