Obituary for Carolyn L. Shup

Carolyn L. (Yerger) Shup, 75, of Red Hill, passed away on Tuesday, May 7, 2019 at West Reading Hospital. She was the loving wife of Ronald R. Shup, sharing almost 60 years of marriage together.

Born in Palm, she was a daughter of the late Ernest and Annie (Kulp) Yerger.

Carolyn was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Red Hill where she was involved with “Lunch Bunch.” She enjoyed going to Wooden Bridge Dry Goods in Kutztown where she would spend her time quilting with friends. Carolyn also enjoyed gardening, baking, and spending time with her grandchildren, and had a passion for animals.

Surviving along with her husband are her five children, Cheryl A. Lord of Barto, Michele L., wife of Tony D’Ippolito of Red Hill, Janine L., wife of Stephen Losinno of Perkiomenville, Allen R. Shup and wife, Cheryl of Fleetwood and Brad W. Shup and wife, Amy of East Greenville; seven grandchildren, Matthew, Alyssa, Angela, Nick, Ali, Carson and Christopher; and her two sisters, Dolores, wife of Larry Seip of Red Hill and Beverly, wife of Stefan Stezenko of Whitehall.

She is predeceased by her sister, Linda Fluke.

A visitation will be held Thursday, May 23rd from 6 to 8 pm at the Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, 222 Washington Street, East Greenville, PA 18041. A private family service and interment will be held on a later date. Offer sympathy to the family at www.mannslonakerfuneralhome.com.
