Obituary for Christine Stavinski (Wamitschek)
Christine (Wamitschek) Stavinski, 72, formerly of Herford, passed away on Wednesday, February 19, 2020 at Pennsburg Manor. She was the wife of the late Albert J. Stavinski.
Born in Steyr, Austria on August 16, 1947, she was the daughter of the late Josef and Christine (Nicklaus) Wamitschek.
Christine was a graduate of Boyertown High School and also the Empire Beauty School in Pottstown. She began her 30 year career as a hair stylist who worked out of her home and then transitioned to styling hair at Walnut Woods in Boyertown for 13 years before retiring. In addition to her passion for hair styling, she enjoyed crocheting and gardening.
Surviving are her niece, Mary Miller; three nephews, Stanley Mikanowiz,Jr. and wife, Kathy, Ronald Mikanowiz and wife Becky, and Dennis Mikanowiz. She is predeceased by her sister, Theresa Kauffman.
