Shannon, Sarah, Samantha, Mr. Straup and extended family. My prayer is that you could find comfort in this precious scripture: "But we do not want you to be uninformed, brethren, about those who are asleep, so that you will no grieve as do those who have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with Him those who have fallen asleep in Jesus." 1 Thess 4:13-14. I weep for your loss and not for Chris who has been made perfect. May you receive the gift of Christ's presence in your life especially in this time of loss and in the time of celebration to come shortly after.

Chris was my friend from 1981 to date. He was more than just that; he was my hero and a man I was proud to call "brother." He enriched my life and I will cherish my memories growing up with him. RIP Chris. - Kevin Breaux
