Obituary for Constance M. "Connie" Lawless (English)
Constance M. “Connie” Lawless, age 89, of Royersford and formerly of Bridgeport, passed away on Monday, June 14, 2021, at Manatawny Manor after a brief illness.
Born in Bridgeport, she was the youngest child of the late Joseph P. Jr. and Alice R. (Fitzpatrick) English. Connie was a wife, mother and homemaker. She also worked for many years as a cashier in local supermarkets and Suzy-Jo Donuts.
Connie enjoyed the Jersey shore and boogie boarding with her grands and great grands. She also enjoyed sports and politics. She was a member of Sacred Heart Church and devoted to her faith.
Connie was the wife of the late Bernard (Bernie) J. Lawless, Sr., of Bridgeport. She is survived by her children: Michele A. Jablonski and husband Rich, of East Norriton; Connie Haas and husband Bob, of Devon; Boe Lawless and wife Sis, of Swedesburg; Bill Lawless and wife Sharon, of Bridgeport; Sherri Morret and husband Matt, of Pottstown; Jack Lawless and partner, Earl McCard, of Bridgeport; 11 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by a grandson, Patrick D. Cunnane and siblings: Joseph P. English III and Patricia A. Barnett.
Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, June 21, 2021, at 11:00 AM at Sacred Heart Church, 838 Walnut Street, Royersford. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family. The family welcomes donations to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or Shriners Hospital for Children as an expression of sympathy instead of flowers.
