Daniel H. Schaffer, 85, of Sassamansville, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Thursday, December 14, 2023 at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest. He was the loving husband of Lillian M. (Criblear) Schaffer, with whom he shared 42 years of marriage.

Born in Lansdale, he was the son of the late Linford and Edna (Uyematsu) Schaffer.
Daniel was a truck driver and dispatcher servicing Albertsons during the time he lived in Texas and then Longacre Poultry when he lived in Pennsylvania.

He loved NASCAR and especially loved watching his great-grandson, Gavyn race and cheer on his great-granddaughter, Kenzie, as she played basketball.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a three children, Susan Houck and husband, Robert, Gregory Genery, Sr. and Terri Baldwin and husband, Steven; 33grandchildren;18 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Ray and Durrell Schaffer; a sister, Louise Kling; and four nephews, Ray Leslie, Charles, David and Steven.

He is predeceased by a daughter, Barbara Wagner; and two brothers, William and Jerry Schaffer.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
