David O. Reitz, 63, passed peacefully from this life into the loving arms of his Lord, surrounded by his family on Saturday, August 6, 2022. He was the beloved husband of Michele A. (Gornick) Reitz, recently celebrating 32 years of marriage together on July 27th.

Born in Norristown, PA, he was the son of the late Edward and Myra (Clark) Reitz, Sr.

David was a 1976 graduate of Perkiomen Valley High School. He was the owner and operator of Diamond Quality Construction, Inc. in Zionsville, PA.

He was a faithful member of Salem Bible Church in Macungie, PA where he enjoyed singing with the Praise Team. When David wasn’t working, he loved spending time with his family; they were the love of his life. He also had a large network of loving friends and will be missed by everyone that knew him.

Surviving in addition to his wife are his four children, Shane Reitz of Zionsville, PA, Ryan Reitz and fiancé, Amanda Mack of Mertztown, PA, Robert Reitz and wife, Holly of East Greenville, PA and Shelby Monturano and husband, Nick of Pottstown, PA; his grandson, Mason Reitz; and siblings, Merle Reitz and wife, Meribah of Pottstown, PA, Myra Jean Rowell of Fort Worth, TX, Melody Yoder and husband, Ray of Elizabethtown, PA, Edward Reitz, Jr. of Boyertown, PA, Tim Reitz, Sr. of Boyertown, PA and Wesley Reitz and wife, Alice of Carrollton, TX; and many nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, August 13, 2022 at Salem Bible Church, 8031 Salem Bible Church Rd, Macungie, PA 18062 with a burial following in the church cemetery. Family and friends may attend a viewing from 9 to 10:45 AM at the church. Arrangements are entrusted to Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, East Greenville, PA.
