Obituary for Dolores E. Fillman (Harpel)
Dolores E. (Harpel) Fillman, passed away on Friday, September 10, 2021 at Pennsburg Manor. She was 82 years old. She was born in Red Hill, PA to the late Leon and Grace (Smith) Harpel. She was the loving wife of Ray W. Fillman, sharing 64 years of marriage together.
Dolores was a Personal Lines Supervisor for Harleysville Insurance, retiring after 42 years. She was a member of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in Pennsburg and a member of the East Penn Hill Lioness Club.
Dolores’s greatest role was being a wife and mother. She loved supporting and spending time with her husband, daughter and siblings. Her favorite thing to do was vacation in the Outer Banks with them.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughter, Mechele Fillman and her husband, Frank Tadeo; three sisters, Linda Ebright, Rene Whary and Sherry Peterson; and two brothers, Karl and Dennis Harpel. She is predeceased by a sister, Debbie Harpel; and three brothers, Richard, Jerry and Galen Harpel.
A funeral service will be held at 11 AM on Thursday, September 16, 2021 at Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, 222 Washington St., East Greenville, PA 18041.
