Obituary for Donald R. Hacker
Donald R. Hacker, 91, of Telford, PA, passed away on Wednesday, October 26, 2022 at his home surrounded by his family. He was the loving husband of Judith A. (Snyder) Hacker, with whom he shared 46 years of marriage.
Born in Lansdale, PA, he was the son of the late Lester and Rosemond (Wunder) Hacker.
Don was an electrician for Swartley Brothers Engineers in Lansdale for 29 years before retirement.
He was a member of the Souderton/Harleysville Gun Club. An avid hunter and fisherman, he enjoyed time spent outdoors. Most importantly, his favorite moments were spent with his family.
Surviving are his six children, Colleen Hacker, Chad Hacker, Sr. and wife, Joanne, Sandra Kilby, Deborah Gaugler and boyfriend, David Martz, Douglas Koffel and wife, Joyce, and Barbara Steinhauser; three grandchildren, Chad Hacker, Jr., Dereck Hacker and Kylie Cozart; three great-grandchildren, Adelyn Cozart, Dakota Humphrey and Ezekial Pinckard ; and a brother, Lester Hacker.
He is predeceased by a sister, Dorothy Barndt; a brother, Kenneth Hacker; and two sons in law, Franklin Kilby and Michael Gaugler.
A memorial service will be held at 11 AM on Friday, November 4, 2022 at Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, 222 Washington St., East Greenville, PA 18041.
