Obituary for Eleanore M. Reiner (Keeley)

Eleanore M. (Keeley) Reiner, of Green Lane, formerly of Zieglerville passed away on Tuesday, March 1, 2022 at Kutztown Manor. She was 88 years old. She was the wife of the late William H. Reiner, Jr..

Born in Limerick, she was the daughter of the late Irvin Keeley and Bertha (Burger) Keeley; and the step-daughter of William Vanderslice.

Eleanore worked for the New Hanover Upper Frederick Elementary School as a lunch aide for many years. She loved to be around children, especially her adored grandchildren. She was always involved with her family. She enjoyed taking trips to the Poconos, attending the senior citizen luncheons in Harleysville, listening to country music; and in her younger days, singing and jitterbugging with her husband. She also enjoyed the activities at Kutztown Manor; whether it was playing cards or bingo or receiving scarves from the Elvis impersonator, Jeff Krick, when he would come for a show.

She was a member of Old Goshenhoppen Church in Harleysville, PA.

Surviving are her two daughters, Vickie Fritz and husband, Clayton of Boyertown, PA and Kathi Marini and husband, Michael of Boyertown, PA; six grandchildren, Karl Lucas, Jr. (fiancé, Angela), Amy Cairns (Robert), Carl Dise, Jr., Jacklyn Fitzgerald (Craig), Jacob Dise, and Victoria Evans (Jonathan); nine great-grandchildren, Zack, Jade, Viktor, Raelynn, Robert, Jr., Mora, Ronin, Elliott and Maddie; and a great-great grandson, Jase. She is also survived by her sisters, Bertha Kline and Linda Salamone (Richard). She is predeceased by an infant son and many brothers and sisters.

A funeral service will be held at 11 AM on Monday, March 7, 2022 at Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, 222 Washington St., East Greenville, PA 18041 with a burial following in Old Goshenhoppen Cemetery, Harleysville, PA.
