Obituary for Elizabeth C. Brady (McGuirk)
Elizabeth “Mickey” C. (McGuirk) Brady, 88, widow of Robert E. Brady, of Red Hill, passed away Monday, April 1, 2019 at her home.
Born in Philadelphia, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Elizabeth (McLaughlin) McGuirk.
She was a 1949 graduate of Little Flower High School for Girls in Philadelphia and studied at Moore College of Art and Design.
She was a member of St. Philip Neri Catholic Church in Pennsburg, Birds of a Feather Bereavement Group and a former member of the Red Hat Society.
Mickey enjoyed paper making and stain glass making.
Surviving are her two children, Anthony R. Brady and wife, Geraldine of Bainbridge, NY and Patricia “Patty” E. Brady and her companion, Michael Rutkowski of Red Hill, PA; her grandson, Adam A. Brady; her sister, Maryanna O’Gara; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A funeral mass will be at 11 AM on Friday, April 5, 2019 at St. Philip Neri Catholic Church, 1325 Klinerd Road, Pennsburg, PA 18073 with Rev. Robert A. Roncase officiating. A viewing will be held from 9:30 to 10:45 AM at the church prior to the service. Arrangements are entrusted to Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, 222 Washington St., East Greenville, PA 18041.
