Elizabeth “Betty” J. Martin, 84, formerly of Schwenksville, passed away on Friday, November 8, 2019 at Valley Manor Rehabilitation and Care Center in Coopersburg. She was the loving wife of Joseph L. Martin, sharing 66 wonderful years of marriage together.

Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Betty (Hebden) Donahue.

Betty was a graduate of Frankford High School in Philadelphia and was the office manager for eye surgeon, Dr. Steven B. Seipser’s, medical office in Paoli for 25 years.

Betty loved camping with her husband, family members and friends. In early years, they spent their camping trips in tents and throughout the years upgraded to a pop-up and finally a motorhome. She loved being out in nature and spending times with her loved ones. She also enjoyed art and doing arts and crafts.

Surviving along with her husband, are her two sons, Joseph T. Martin and Michael J. Martin and his wife, Denise; two grandchildren, Samantha Martin and Michael Martin; a great-granddaughter, Riley; and her two brothers, Thomas Donahue and wife, Nancy and Jack Donahue. She is predeceased by her sister, Sandra Day.

A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. on Friday, November 22, 2019 at Mann-Slonaker, Funeral Home, 222
