Obituary for Frank F. Gruber
Frank F. Gruber, 85, of Green Lane, passed away on Sunday, January 2, 2022 at home. He was the loving husband of Rose M. (Moyer) Gruber, sharing 41 years of marriage together.
Born in Altoona, he was the son of the late Franz and Anna (Maier) Gruber.
Frank was a veteran of the United States Army. He was an auto body repair technician for the former Todd
Motors in Telford for 20 years. Following his retirement, he kept himself busy with various odds and end jobs.
Frank was a woodworker and also enjoyed working with stone; building rock walks along his property. Above all of this, he enjoyed spending time with his family.
Surviving in addition to his wife, are his son, Frank Gruber, Jr. and wife, Kim; two step-daughters, Debra Stoneback and wife, Paula and Holly Stoneback; a sister, Hedy Zumsteg; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
