Obituary for George E. Chipakitis
George E. Chipakitis, 74, of East Greenville, PA, passed away on Thursday, October 29, 2020 at Pennsburg Manor.
Born in Upper Hanover Township, he was the son of the late Adam and Anna (Henry) Chipakitis.
George worked as a farmer on the family owned dairy farm in Upper Hanover Township until it was sold. He was a member of St. Philip Neri R.C. Church in Pennsburg.
Surviving are his brother, Joseph S. Chipakitis; his sister, Theresa, wife of the late Raymond Spohn Jr.; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins. He was also predeceased by a sister, the late Agnes Huzzard.
A funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, November 3, 2020 at 11 AM at St. Philip Neri R.C. Church, 1325 Klinerd Rd., Pennsburg, PA 18073. Family and friends are invited to a viewing from 10 to 10:45 AM at the church prior to mass. A burial will be held privately. Arrangements are entrusted to Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, East Greenville.
