Obituary for George C. Hansell III
George C. Hansell III, 63 of Pennsburg, passed away on Monday, March 16, 2020 at Grand View Hospital. He was the loving husband of Joanne Dunyan of 30 years; the proud father of Gabrielle Hansell; and the brother of Nancy Hansell and husband, Bryan Williams and Merele (Trares) and husband, John.
He was born in Philadelphia on June 15, 1956 to the late George C. Hansell, Jr. and Martha (O’Neill) Hansell.
George was a 1974 graduate of Springfield High School in Erdenheim, PA and was employed at McNeil Consumer Products in Fort Washington as a packaging operator for 35 years.
In his spare time, George enjoyed birdwatching, caring for his two dogs, Heidi and Berkeley, and taking care of his horses. He also had a talent for drawing caricatures and making birdhouses, benches and signs.
Due to the updated recommendation from the CDC, Mr. Hansell's service will be private. A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
