Obituary for George G. Kibblehouse
George G. Kibblehouse, 82, of Pennsburg, PA passed away on Saturday, September 3, 2022 at St. Luke's Hospital - Allentown Campus. He was the husband of the late Mary Ellen Kibblehouse with whom he shared 51 years of marriage.
George was born in Norristown, a son of the late George B. and Kathryn A. (Sacks) Kibblehouse. He graduated from Collegeville Trappe High School in 1958. George was a proud Navy veteran and served honorably aboard the aircraft carrier, USS Intrepid. He enjoyed playing the piano, painting landscapes and decorating cakes. He was employed for many years as a production manager at Sonoco until retiring in 2000.
Surviving are his children: Pam, wife of James Meitzler of Huff's Church; Bonnie, wife of Mahlon Moyer, of Gilbertsville; Glenn Kibblehouse and wife Rochelle, of Gilbertsville; Wanda, wife of Scott Szilli, of Huff's Church; and Todd Kibblehouse, of Allentown; brother, Ralph Kibblehouse and wife Carolyn, of Collegeville; grandchildren: James Jr. and wife Laura; Jason and wife Niki; Kristen, Matthew, Karen and husband Vishaal, Kyle, Lindsey and husband James, and Andrew; great-grandchildren, Tilleen, James and wife Taylor, Brice, Hayden, Brynn, Kiley, Bree, Ashlyn as well as one great-grandchild on the way; spouse Patrick H. Richards; he was also preceded in death by a sister, Janet Miller and granddaughter, Kristen, wife of Chris Oswald.
Services will be officiated by Pastor John Steitz of Huff’s Church and will be private at the convenience of the family.
