Obituary for Gloria R. Kulp (Heacock)

Gloria R. (Heacock) Kulp, 87, widow of Eugene T. Kulp, of Red Hill, passed away on Sunday, April, 28, 2019 at Lehigh Valley Hospital Cedar Crest.

Born in Tylersport, she was a daughter of the late Clarence N. and Catherine M. (Hafler) Heacock.

Gloria was a homemaker. She was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Sumneytown and an honorary life member of the Red Hill Fire Company Ladies’ Auxiliary.

Surviving are three children, Lori J. wife of Ronald “Spicket” Schantz of Red Hill, Vickie Lynn Kulp, companion of A. Scott DeLong of Green Lane and Robert A. Kulp of Red Hill; two sisters, Doris J., “Tootie”, wife of Carl F. Slonaker, Sr. of Red Hill and Patricia H., wife of John T. Niemy of Red Hill; sister-in-law, Florence “Tootsie” Heacock of Chariton, Iowa; five grandchildren, Haley, wife of Ryan Snyder, Dylan Schantz and companion, Shelby Godshall, Nicole Kulp, Cody Schantz and wife, J’Aime and Melissa Kulp and two great grandchildren, Evan and Ava Snyder. Along with her husband and parents, she was predeceased by her brothers, Woodrow Heacock, Donald “Bup” Heacock and three infant brothers.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, May 2, 2019 at Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, 222 Washington Street, East Greenville, PA 18041 with the Rev. Rebecca Schanely officiating. Burial follows in Frieden’s Union Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to a viewing from 10 to 11 a.m. on Thursday at the funeral home prior to the service.
