Obituary for Harold C. Gehman
Beloved Son, Husband, Father and Pop-pop, Pop-pop-pop Harold C Gehman, age 78, died peacefully on February 22, 2024.
Harold is survived by his loving wife, Lynndell Gehman, his sons Robert L Andresen (Connie Andresen), Duane E Andresen (Heather Andresen), Michael S Gehman (Bonnie Gehman) his grandchildren Robert M Andresen, Christopher J Andresen, Daniel T Andresen, Beatrice S Gehman, his great-grandchildren Ksenia Andresen, Julianna Andresen, Theodore Andresen, Elizabeth Andresen and many more loyal friends and family.
Harold was predeceased by his Mother Sarah M Gehman and by his Father Harold C George. As a Private in the Army, Harold C George was killed in Germany April 1945. Harold was born and raised by Sarah M Gehman in Hatfield, PA.
Harold attended Lansdale High School before his 30+ year career work at Merck, Sharp and Dohme in West Point, PA.
Harold met Lynndell in Lansdale while he was bartending at the old Wagon Wheel 1900 and married in November 1969 before moving to Lansdale in 1973 to raise 3 boys until retirement in 2000.
Some of his enjoyments included traveling & family vacations, cruises, following the Philadelphia sports teams, shooting pool, neighborhood card games, bowling, home woodworking and making memories for his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at Noon on Friday, March 1, 2024 at Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home 222 Washington St East Greenville, PA. Visitation will be from 11-12:00 PM.
