Obituary for Harvey E. Bossert Jr.
Harvey E. Bossert, Jr., 79, of Green Lane, passed away on Wednesday January, 29, 2020 at home surrounded by his family. He was the loving husband of Darlene F. (Grim) Bossert.
Born in Allentown on April 28, 1940, he was the son of the late Harvey E. Bossert, Sr. and Sarah (Kolb) Bossert.
Harvey was a maintenance mechanic for Precision Tube Company in North Wales for many years before retiring in 2002.
He was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Sumneytown and a life member of the Sassamnsville Fire Co. An avid hunter, he was a member of Limerick Archery, Popodickon Archery and Boyertown Rod and Gun Club. He also enjoyed fishing and working on cars.
Surviving in addition to his wife of 55 years, are his two daughters, Lori A. Fox and husband, Darin of Barto and Cathie S. Rubbo and husband, Mark of Pottstown; two grandchildren, Victoria Gilmore and husband, Kevin and Tyler Fox; and his brother, John Bossert and wife, Carol of East Greenville.
He is predeceased by a sister, Nancy Petroski.
As per Harvey’s wish, there will be no services.
