Helen was simply the sweetest person. As a young child, she was so welcoming as my sister's and I dutifully went door to door to each neighbors house selling whatever it was Upper Perkiomen School District was peddling those days....magazines, chocolate bars, etc. Her beautiful smile and soft spirit drew you in and made you feel at home in her kitchen. My Mom and I shared tears for the loss of Helen today on the phone - as Mom shared what Helen meant to her. So touching. We all wish we could be there to offer our condolences in person. Another Angel has entered Heaven. Helen, you will be missed.

Helen was such a dear friend and beloved neighbor for so many years. Her positive spirit and loving nature was evident to anyone who met her. She was generous with her time and talent; always the first to volunteer if there was a need. She was a great companion on long walks. I will miss her dearly. In deepest sympathy and love, Joan Smith (dictated to daughter Melissa (Smith) Chen.)
