Obituary for Irene D. Roshon (Swartz)
Irene D. Roshon (Swartz), 98, wife of the late H. Cernell Roshon, passed away at St. Luke’s Hospital in Quakertown on Wednesday, October 16, 2019 with her family around her bed side.
Irene was a grandmother to Michelle Kuremsky, David Shearer and Gwen Argue and a great-grandmother to six great-grandchildren, Ethan, Riley, Chandler, Jaelyn, Rylan and Isaiah. Irene has a son, Craig of Hawaii and a daughter, Marcia, residing in Pennsburg.
Irene worked at Royal Pants Factory in Perkasie for 25 years and then Biedler’s Pants Factory also in Perkasie for about 15 years.
She volunteered at the thrift shop in Red Hill for many years and also took time out to volunteer for the Red Cross. In between that, she liked to work on puzzles, play bingo and most of all, walk her dog, Corky.

A funeral service will be at 5:30 PM on Friday, October 25, 2019 at Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, 222 Washington St., East Greenville, PA 18041. A viewing will be held an hour before from 4:30 to 5:30 PM at the funeral home. Offer sympathy to the family at www.mannslonakerfuneralhome.com.
