Obituary for James R. Hunsberger
James R. “Jim” Hunsberger, 88, of Pennsburg, passed away on Monday, February 8, 2021 at Grand View Hospital. He was the loving husband of Jeanne A. (Weisel) Hunsberger, sharing 56 years of marriage together.
Born in Blooming Glen, he was the son of the late Russell and Alverda (Moyer) Hunsberger.
Jim was a graduate of Blooming Glen High School and a veteran of the United States Army. He served honorably during the Korean War. In addition to his love for his family, he loved to golf.
Along with his wife, he is survived by his two sons, Jeffrey J. Hunsberger and wife, Alice of Coatesville, PA and Jonathan N. Hunsberger and wife, Diane of Line Lexington, PA; and five grandchildren, Jess, Jack, Henry, Colby and Harris. He is predeceased by two sisters, Gloria Skillman and Violet Popiwny.
