Obituary for Jill M. Lantzy

Jill M. Lantzy, 63, of East Greenville, passed away on Monday, January 22, 2024.

Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Joan (Cisick) Lantzy.

Jill was a 1978 graduate of Upper Perk High School where she was serving on the planning committee for class reunions. A dedicated employee, Jill just celebrated 45 years of employment at One Main Financial where she was a personal loan specialist. She was also a member of the Upper Perk BPW and the former Upper Perk Jaycees and VOICES.

Jill enjoyed going to the Upper Perkiomen YMCA, where she especially loved taking yoga classes. She also enjoyed attending bingo at the East Greenville Fire House, comedy nights, and open mic with Phil Stahl and “Catfish & Joe”. Jill also enjoyed attending her great nieces and nephews sporting and school events.

Jill’s warm smile and compassionate heart touched the lives of all those fortunate enough to cross paths with her. She exuded kindness and radiated positivity wherever she went. Whether it was with family or friends, she had a unique talent for making everyone feel valued and loved.

Surviving are two sisters, Joanne Plum and Kylene Bertoia-Hart and husband, Stan; three nieces, Jennifer Plum-Forte and husband, Louis, Devon Hawkins and husband, Tom and Jessica Plum; and six great nieces and nephews, Charlotte, Brandon, Oliver, Caroline, Emmitt and Prudence.

She is predeceased by a sister, Ellen Chomitzky; and nieces, Kyndi Bertoia and Bethany Chomitzky.

A visitation will be held from 11 AM to 1 PM at the Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, 222 Washington St., East Greenville, PA 18041.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that remembrances of Jill be made in the form of an act of kindness.
