Obituary for Kathleen P. Lynch
Kathleen P. (O’Brien) Lynch, 66, of Hatfield, PA, passed away on Sunday, July 24, 2022 at home surrounded by her family. She was a religious person and through her faith weathered the storm of her cancer. She was the beloved wife of David K. Lynch, with whom she shared 42 years of marriage.
Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Lorraine (Paskey) O’Brien.
Kathy was a 1973 graduate of Archbishop Ryan High School. She was a “jack of all trades” in the food & hospitality industry but especially loved event planning.
She leaves a huge hole in the hearts of her family and friends who were always entertained by her stories and hilarious sense of humor. She truly brought the life to the party. She was beloved by everyone who ever spent time with her; a fantastic mother, a great wife and fun sister. No matter the circumstance, you'd always leave with a story of something funny or crazy Kathy did while you were with her.
Surviving along with her husband, are her two children, Victoria Simon and husband, Darin of Philadelphia and Matthew Lynch and girlfriend, Kimberlee Dalton of Perkasie; her two brothers, Christopher O'Brien and wife, Donna of Downingtown and Joseph O’Brien and wife, Susan of Cartersville, GA; her nieces Danielle Mayer, Saible D’Amico and Kelly McMenamin; and nephews David Kralle, Brendan O’Brien and Shae O’Brien. She is predeceased by two brothers, Daniel and David O’Brien.
