Obituary for Kathryn C. Corson-Seemann (Corson)
Kathryn Cynthia Marie Corson-Seemann, 61, of Bally, PA, passed away on Tuesday, April 13, 2021 at Lehigh Valley Hospital Cedar Crest. She was the wife of Hubert J. Seemann, with whom she shared almost 33 years of marriage.
She was born in Japan while her father was serving in the military. She was a daughter of the late Bertha H. (Hamby) Corson and Robert F. Corson, of Pottsville. Kathy was a 1977 graduate of the former Nativity BVM High School in Pottsville and a 1982 graduate of Temple University, where she earned a B.A. in Theater.
Kathy worked as a sales representative for Macy’s in Montgomery Mall and drove school bus for Quigley Bus Service, Bally, PA. She was also a floral designer.
She was a member of Most Blessed Sacrament, Bally, PA. Kathy loved acting, music and dance. She also loved animals and going to the beach and mountains with friends.
In addition to her husband and father, Kathy is survived by her children: Hubert J. Seemann III and Ashley Kathryn Seemann, fiancé of Cole Speilman; and a sister, Debbie Charowsky and her husband Harry.
Due to gathering restrictions, friends and family are invited to a walk-thru visitation on Sunday, April 18, 2021 from 5 to 7 PM at Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, 222 Washington Street, East Greenville, PA. Guests will be required to wear masks and follow all social distancing protocols. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Kathy’s memory to Montgomery County SPCA, 1059 Sweisford Rd., Perkiomenville, PA 18074.
