Obituary for Kent L. Harwick

Kent L. Harwick, 61, of Boyertown, PA, passed away at his home on Sunday, April 4, 2021. He was the husband of Deborah S. (Seidle) Harwick, with whom he shared 28 years of marriage.

Born in Pottstown, he was a son of the late Stanley R. and Jeannette L. (Heimbach) Harwick. Kent was a 1978 graduate of Upper Perkiomen High School and earned a drafting degree from Lincoln Technical Institute. Kent worked as a draftsman for Bally Case and Cooler before the plant’s closing. Then, he worked as a fundraiser for the Police Chiefs Association of Montgomery County. His last position was as a sales representative for Hibu Digital Marketing.

Kent was a salt water aquarium hobbyist. He was also a car enthusiast and was very fond of his Triumph TR7. He loved gardening and landscaping around his home. A talented artist, Kent specialized in acrylics and sketch pencil drawing. He also loved his dogs.

In addition to his wife, Kent is survived by a son, Kaleb; siblings: Charisse L. Harwick; Chris T., husband of Mary Harwick; Greg S. Harwick and Stacy A., wife of Michael Whalen and many extended family members including aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, May 15, 2021 at 11:00 am. Guests may arrive an hour prior to the service. Guests will need to follow social distancing and masking protocols.
