Obituary for Larry R. Surma
Lawrence R. “Larry” Surma, of Pennsburg, passed away on Wednesday, October 26, 2022 at Belle Terrace Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Quakertown. He was 62 years old.
Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Frank and Ida (Ewens) Surma, Sr.
Larry was a graduate of Upper Perkiomen High School and was employed at Ryder Rebuilt Center in Pennsburg, retiring after 32 years as a manager of operations. Prior to that, he worked at Whitetail Disposal in residential sales and with Gillespie Electric as a warehouse associate.
He was a member of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church and in his spare time, he enjoyed riding his motorcycle.
Larry is survived by a two nieces, Vivian Kruse and husband Ron and Patricia Marsh and husband, Jim; a nephew, Mark Surma; 11 great-nieces and nephews; and many close friends. He is predeceased by a sister, Deborah Streck and Step-brother, Frank Surma, Jr.
Services will be private at this time.
