Obituary for Leona L. Slonaker
Leona L. Slonaker, 85, of Pennsburg, passed away on Wednesday, January 6, 2021 at Pennsburg Manor.
She was born in Conshohocken, PA to the late Walton and Helen (Andra) Slonaker.
Leona was a computer technician specialist for General Electric for 40 years and following that, a data entry specialist at Mutual Industries for 15 years before her retirement. She was also known as the caregiver in her family, caring for her mother, uncle and cousin.
She was a member of St. Philip Neri R.C. Church and in her earlier years, she loved to travel, attend the American Music Center in Lancaster with friends and enjoyed her visits to Shady Maple.
She is survived by her best friend and caregiver, Bonnie L. Mower. Predeceased by aunts, uncles and cousins.
Due to the current health crisis, services will be private at this time. Arrangements are entrusted to Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, 222 Washington St., East Greenville, PA.
