Obituary for Mae E. Hoffman (Wetzel)
Mae E. Hoffman, 99, formerly of Macungie, passed away on Friday, March 31, 2023 at Sanatoga Center. She was the widow of the late LeRoy B. Hoffman.
Born in Lanark, PA, she was a daughter of the late Morris E. and Lena M. (Folk) Wetzel. Mae was a homemaker. She was also a life member of Huff’s Union Church.
She is survived by her son, Norman R. Hoffman and wife Susan; grandsons: Matthew Hoffman, Zachary Hoffman and his wife Asia; sister, Minerva Merkel and several nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by brothers: Harry and Irwin Wetzel.
A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, April 7, 2023 at 10:00 AM at Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, 222 Washington St., East Greenville, PA 18041. Friends may call from 9:30-10:00 AM. Interment will follow at Huffs Union Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her memory to Huff’s Union Church, 540 Conrad Rd., Alburtis, PA 18011.
