Obituary for Margaret L. Haines (Moffett)
Margaret L. Haines, 82, of East Greenville, PA passed away at her home on Monday, August 15, 2022. She was the beloved wife of James A. Haines. They would have celebrated 64 years of marriage on Aug. 30th.
A lifelong resident of East Greenville, she was a daughter of the late Harold Moffett and Margaret (Thomas) Alexander. Margaret was a homemaker and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a member of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church and also belonged to its Golden Age Club.
She is survived by her children: Eugene Haines and wife Nancy; Eric Haines and wife Christina; Carolyn Phillips and husband Tee; sisters: Harriet Rapine and Nancy Hauck and husband Jeff; nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Her Funeral Service will be held on Friday, August 19, 2022 at 10:00 AM at Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, 222 Washington St., East Greenville, PA 18041. Calling time is from 9-10 AM. Burial will be in St. Mark’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Mark’s Lutheran Church, 81 N. Main St., Pennsburg, PA 18073.
