Obituary for Maritza Landaverry
Maritza Landaverry, 65, passed away on Wednesday, June 30, 2021 in Brooklyn, NY. Born in Guatemala City, Guatemala, she was the daughter of the late Rodolfo Marroquin and Blanca Landaverry.
Maritza earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from Hunter College at the City University of New York and was employed as an accountant for 30 years. Most recently, she worked at Grenadier Realty Corporation in Brooklyn for almost 20 years. Her greatest accomplishment and enjoyment in life was being a mother and grandmother.
She will be greatly missed by her daughter, Stephanie Vacchio of Brooklyn, NY; two granddaughters, Ariella and Madison; her brother, Mario Landaverry and his wife, Sharon of East Greenville, PA, her niece Whitney Landaverry and her family Caleb, Lyndie, Caleb Jr., Gideon, and Natalia, and her nephew Mario Jr. and his family Jen, Isaiah, Elias, and Olivia.
Services will be private at this time. She will be laid to rest at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church Cemetery in Red Hill, PA.”
