Obituary for Marjorie J. Schmidenberg (Freed)
Marjorie J. (Freed) Schmidenberg, of Telford, joined her husband, Henry Schmidenberg, in heaven on Tuesday, November 16, 2021 at St. Luke’s Hospital Upper Bucks Campus. She was 85 years old.
Born in Red Hill, she was the daughter of the late Roy and Virginia (Godshall) Freed.
Marjorie was a graduate of Souderton High School. She worked at the Sunlight Shop in Souderton and then for Brooks Instruments in Hatfield.
She was a member of Ridge Valley United Church of Christ in Sellersville. Her passion was spending time with the family whether it was at home or by the pool. She also enjoyed cooking, baking, sewing, gardening and bus trips.
Surviving are her three children, Robert Stoeckle and wife, Marianne of Quakertown, Sandra, wife of Dave Heitz of Sellersville, PA, Suzanne Bateman and Roger Frederick of Sellersville, PA; Grandchildren: Ginger, wife of David Barrilli, Arion Stoeckle, Lindsey, wife of Andrew Killackey, Austin Bateman, Kelsey Bateman and great grandson Cayden Killackey.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial service celebrating the lives of Marge and Hank at 11 am on Friday Nov 19, 2021, at Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home at 222 Washington St, East Greenville, PA 18041, where friends may call for visiting hours from 10-11. Burial will follow at St Paul’s Lutheran Church at 1244 St Paul’s Church Road, Pennsburg, PA 18073.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his memory to Ridge Valley United Church of Christ, 905 Allentown Rd, Sellersville, PA 18960
