Obituary for Michael E. Kwortnik
Michael E. Kwortnik, 64, of Green Lane, passed away on Wednesday, December 29, 2021 at Grand View Hospital. He was the loving husband of Jane M. (Lewis) Kwortnik, sharing 38 years of marriage together.
Born in Jarrettown, he was the son of Marlene (Kallenbach) of Jarrettown and the late, Michael Kwortnik.
Michael was a graduate of Upper Dublin High School and served his country proudly in the Marine Corps. After honorable discharge, he worked as a manual machinist for various companies throughout his career.
He was a member of the Green Lane Fire Company and a former member of the Tri-Boro Marine Core League.
In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by his son, Michael E. Kwortnik, Jr. and girlfriend, Kiersten Carreras of Bally; his daughter, Erin C. Kwortnik of Green Lane; a brother, Matt Kwortnik; three sisters, Janice Teti and husband, John, Joan Kwortnik and Judy Kwortnik and boyfriend, Jose Hernandez; a sister-in-law, Colleen Kwortnik; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
In addition to his father, he is predeceased by a brother, Mark Kwortnik.
A celebration of Michael's life will be announced at a later date. Arrangements are entrusted to Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, 222 Washington St., East Greenville, PA 18041.
