Mildred V. (Cofone) Moser, 68, wife of Scott K. Moser, of Palm, passed away Tuesday, October 30, 2018 at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest with loved ones by her side.
Born in Manayunk, PA, she was the daughter of the late Louis and Mildred (Fair) Cofone.
Mildred was a graduate of Roxborough High School in Philadelphia and went on to earn a master’s degree in Christian Counseling and a doctorate in Christian Education from Patriot University. She was employed with PPL in Allentown as a customer service representative for 20 years before retiring in 2015.
She was member of Morning Star Fellowship in Bechtelsville where she was in charge of sending cards and care packages to the troops overseas. She was also a volunteer for Chosen 300, serving the homeless in Pottstown, PA.
Surviving in addition to her husband of 45 years, are her son, Keith M. Moser and wife, Christine of Alburtis and her granddaughter, Abigail R. Moser. She is predeceased by her brother, Louis Cofone.
A memorial service will be held at 11 am on Saturday, November 17, 2018 at Morning Star Fellowship 100 Limekiln Rd, Bechtelsville, PA 19505 with Rev. Steve DeFrain officiating. Family and friends are invited to a visitation from 9 to 10:45 am at the church prior to the service. Arrangements are entrusted to Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, 222 Washington St., East Greenville, PA 18041. Offer sympathy to the family at www.mannslonakerfuneralhome.com.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in her memory to the Morning Star Fellowship Missions Fund, 100 Limekiln Rd, Bechtelsville, PA 19505.
